About Us

Established in 2009 by Coogee Dolphins Sports Club to give girls an opportunity to be involved, play sport and have fun.

In the first year of netball there was only a senior team who played in the Randwick Netball Association and by 2013 the club fielded 15 teams.

Coogee Dolphins teams have won Grand Finals, Finals & Semi- Finals in different ages each year and have had players go on to representative squads for RNA.  We are largely a social club and happy to accommodate whole teams of friends who just want to play together.

Like most sports the club is built on the efforts of our volunteers, supported by the Coogee Dolphins Sports Club, and without them the club would not survive. Thank you to you all our coaches, administrators, umpires, team managers, players and supporters!

On the 12th October 2002, six members of the Coogee Dolphins touring party were tragically killed in the Bali Tragedy. Those members that lost their lives were Clint Thompson (6), Adam Howard (10), David Mavroudis (5), Shane Foley (8), Gerard Yeo (3) and Joshua Iliffe (4).

In honour of these players, the Club's logo was redesigned to incorporate the numbers that they played in.
